Stuck on something in the portal or one of the apps? Here's who to write to, what to tell us, and what your school office can fix on the spot.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1Who to write to

Everything comes to one address: hello@ubuddy.in.

If you work in a school office, write from your school email address and name your school in the first line, so we know straight away which portal we are looking at.

If you are a parent or a student, ask your school office first. Ubuddy accounts are created and managed by the school, so the office holds your record and can check the number or address you sign in with and put it right on the spot. We cannot create, reset or look up an account on a family’s behalf without the school.

2What to put in your message

A few details let us answer in one reply instead of three:

  • your school’s name;
  • the app and the screen — Ubuddy School Admin, Ubuddy Staff or Ubuddy Student, on iOS or Android, or the portal in a browser — and which screen you were on;
  • the mobile number or email address the account signs in with — never the password. We will never ask for it, and please never send it;
  • what happened, and what you expected instead — with the date and time, and the exact words of any message on the screen.

If something looks different after an update, the release notes say what changed and when it reached your school.

3Signing in

Sign-in codes are sent to the mobile number or email address your school has on record for you. If no code arrives, that number or address is the first thing to check — your school office can see what is on your record and correct it.

Where your school has issued you a password, you can reset it yourself: the password link on the sign-in screen emails a reset link to the address on your record.

4Deleting an account, or asking for your data

How Ubuddy handles personal data, and the rights you have over it, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

To have an account deleted, or to ask for a copy or a correction of the data held about you, write to hello@ubuddy.in. Your school is the data fiduciary for its own records — admissions, fees, marks, attendance — so deleting a school record is done together with the school, and we will bring your school office into the conversation where it needs to be. Data we hold ourselves, such as a demo enquiry, we delete directly.

Questions about any of this?

No legalese required — write to us in plain English (or हिन्दी) and a real person will reply.
